Dum app, stay away from this thing. Poorly written, don’t expect dragging dropping expanding and even drawing arrows. Waste of money, a shame.
Brutal
This would have been great in 1985! Thanks for the retro look and nav and taking my $5!
If you save without getting a copy in PNG or PDF format, you will never get the full chart afterwards. Half of the chart immediately perishes. Please fix this. It is a pain in the neck. I have lost 2 hours of work and had to do it again.
Not a cheap application at $14.95 so i was a bit disappointed with the simple level of functionality of the app. Cannot find a way to move the title around. It didn’t like symbols, for example the ampersand &, in people’s job titles. If you have twenty people reporting to a ‘box’ and the box changes, you have to recreate the relationship for each one. The app does produce attractive output and the colors are easily customizable. A small choice of fonts and box sizes are available. I couldn’t find a way to fit three lines in the boxes (name, job title and location). I did get my job done, so thanks for that, but the app could be even better.
I agree with the other review. This app is very simple to use and understand. However, it’s very limited on what it can do. Example - there’s no way to show dotted line reporting which i needed. For $14.95, not really worth it. If this app has more functionality, I would rate it higher.
This is a very basic organisational chart creator. While the charts are colourful and easy to create, there is little flexibility to design the charts to accomodate more than a common straight hierachical chart (For example, no ability to modifiy individual lines for “dotted-line” relationships or matrix organisation structures, no ability to highlight names or titles by using font characteristics like bold or italics, etc.). I expected more flexilibilty and customisable options in the app for the price paid.

Im in college for business and I bought this product for an assignment to make a basic organizaional structure. It wouldnt do basic structures that Im learning about like matrix and others. This product is complete garbage! This isnt even with $.99. I would rate this a zero even if it was free. I contacted the company for my money back hours after I purchased it once I realized it doesnt do what it claims. Weeks later I still have not had a reply from the makers of this APP. Dont even bother with this APP at all.

I found this chart VERY restrictive in what one can do!! NOT what I was hoping for!! I will have to find a different application!
The applications showed promise as it was easy to use, visually aesthetic, and the Grid entry tool made for quick data entry. There was a lot I would have preferred to see but decided that I could live without like: 1. The lack of Vector line graphics similar to VISIO. 2. The lack of paper size formatting, and chart size formatting. 3. The lack of dotted line connections for multi layer reporting. But then came the bombs …….. I was horrified to find out that the tool only supports 93 lines of data. This almost made me cry as I spent a few hours entering and updating data into the Grid, only to find out that there was no way to add additional lines. My organization is 102 members deep and I spent all that time for NOTHING. Next, when I sent I ticket on their website to explain this problem and hopefully discover a resolve, I never got a response. A week went by and nothing! I sent multiple requests, and nothing! Apparently these guys are just coasting on the App store collecting their $9.99 a pop hits with no intension of supporting this product. Very Disappointing

Did what I wanted it to do but still has some issues
I needed a way to create a taxonomy organizational chart for a very large website redevelopment project that I am managing and this app seemed to be the easiest and least expensive option. It did what I needed it to do, but there are still some bugs in this program. For example, after entering in all of the fields I wanted to create in the file (worksheet) view, the program simply locked up and would no longer function. Fortunately, I had been saving my work regularly as I made entries, and I was able to close the program and restart it. However, the chart view would only show the ‘sample chart,’ and I could no longer view the original chart I had created. However, I was able to ‘export’ that file and then I created a new chart and imported the original data into this new chart file and I was back in business, but there were a few items that I had to manipulate. So my advice is to both Save the file and also Export it periodically, so you have something to fall back on should the program lock up. There are a few things that I wish the app would do. The chart blocks appear as you enter the date from left to right or top to bottom. There is no easy way to rearrange the order of the blocks if you decided to add another block later that you want to appear in a position other than on the right or bottom of the group. I wish you could click and drag a box, or assign an order within the list in the file view to rearrange the order the boxes appear on your chart. Your only option is to go back and edit each line in the file view to make the boxes appear in the order that you want them. Also, it would be nice to be able to click on a box in the chart view and have that action open the edit function on the corresponding line in the file view. As it stands now, you have to scan the entire list of files to find the corresponding line within the file list to make an edit. That is pretty easy if you have a simple chart with only a few blocks, but if you have a large chart with lots of relationships among the various blocks, it can be tedious to scan the entire list to make a simple text edit to the text in one of the boxes. Also, it would be helpful to be able to make universal changes to a group of boxes, either by dragging and highlighting a group of boxes to say change a color or font, without having to click on each box and make the edits individually. Having said all of that, for the price the app did what I wanted it to do without a substantial investment. So for the price I really can’t expect too much. However, one can always ask. Agree with others
The most annoying part is how promising it looks and totally fails to deliver. One incredibly annoying piece is that it constantly auto-corrects what I am trying to type into the boxes. If I want to use _,*, & or other characters it simply removes it!!! Even when I turn off auto correct, and anything that I can find it keeps correcting it. VERY VERY annoying. Make it stop please.
Disappointed
I have 12 items reporting to the lead. The program lines them all up horizontally which is fine, but it winds up being very wide layout. Wish there was a feature to make a second row but those still reporting to the lead. Also would not print. Heading is not centered. It would be a lot better if one could drag and drop the different nodes to where you want them. Generally disappointed.

This was a waste of my money after downloading it, it did nothing that it was supposed to do, and my money should be refunded.
Too basic
I’m sure there are better apps for Organization charts. Won’t allow you to center/align the documents - felt like the app is pretty elementary

Very Basic Org Chart Maker
This is a very basic organisational chart creator.
